Hella Heynmöller (left) founded the European Youth Weeks at Ludwigstein Castle in 1953 to encourage international understanding. Throughout her life, Hella Heynmöller stood up for peace in Europe. In her honor, the town of Gudensberg in Hesse named a street after her. The “Hella-Heynmöller-Strasse” was inaugurated in Juli.
