As every year, our club’s own dance group “die Ludwigsteiner” also takes part in Eurowoche.
The group consists of dancers from all over Germany, so there are only 4 rehearsals a year. Since it was founded by Fritz Lenz in 1990, the group has represented Germany at the Eurowoche.
The repertoire of the Ludwigsteiner consists of old and new German folk dances, which are put together into little tales. With these tales, the group shows the everyday life of previous generations. The costumes are from different parts of Hesse, Thuringia and Lower Saxony.
